Yao should be in there.
Ok, that would be very different: A 'That I have seen play, while on my team' list would be a bit different:
Grant Hill
Ben Wallace
Rip Hamilton
Chauncy Billups
Tayshaun Prince
Rasheed Wallace
Antonio McDyesse
Corliss Williamson
Jerry Stackhouse
Lindsay Hunter
HMs go out to Jon Barry and Mike James, and a past-his-prime Joe Dumars...
Magic (Was the orchestrator of the team that beat the Celtics twice)
Kareem (The offensive force in the 80s for the lakers)
Kobe (The greatest Laker of the 2000s)
Shaq (Main reason for the 3-peat)
West (The first true franchise player for LAL)
Baylor (One of the most entertaining Lakers, deserved to ring)
Worthy (Gave us showtime)
Fisher (Was always there, running the triangle and making clutch plays)
Gasol (Was the guy the Lakers needed to take the scoring pressure off Kobe)
Mikan (Dominance that gave the first chip)
Honorable mention - Wilt, Goodrich, probably more
10 Greatest Braves/Clippers:

To Minnesotta
The Minneapolis what? Say it.
LAKERS
LAKERS
Because of the LAKES in MINNESOTTA
How can you be bragging about those 1st les since ou are not from there?
Right, the Lakers. Why would I brag about a team? I didn't contribute anything to them, except some ticket sales over the years. I like the team, them being local didn't influence my decision to like them. I like them for reasons such as Magic being my favorite player and the Laker-Celtic rivalry being my favorite rivalry in the NBA history.
Sorry for not being a bandwagon fan.
No prob
I liked the Magic era Lakers, since Magic was my favorite all time player. I also liked the Billups era Pistons, but not the bad boys era because I didn't like Laimbeer.
who cares what you like DMC? Absolutely NO one....![]()
now...this is one of my older classic posts....I keep them filed away for quick retrieval.
Spurs First Team vs Lakers First Team
If 50 years of gauranteed money and pussy were on the line which team would you pick. Let’s examine the line-ups:
SG - GEORGE GERVIN VS. KOBE BRYANT
PG - TONY PARKER VS. MAGIC JOHNSON
SF - BRUCE BOWEN VS. ELGIN BAYLOR
PF - TIM DUNCAN VS. WILT CHAMBERLAIN
C - DAVID ROBINSON VS. KAREEM ABDUL-JABBAR
While the Spurs first team would be great in an alternate universe they'd get skull ed...The Lakers win every matchup on this first team decisively in my opinion. The Lakers TWIN TOWERS line-up on would eviscerate Timmy and Robbie ...
Spurs Second Team: vs Lakers Second Team ( This Spur 2nd unit could cause the Laker all time 2nd unit some problems)
SG - MANU GINOBILI VS. GAIL GOODRICH
PG - ALVIN ROBERTSON VS. JERRY WEST
SF - MIKE MITC VS. JAMES WORTHY
PF - LARRY KENON VS. PAU GASOL
C - BILLY PAULTZ VS. SHAQUILLE ONEAL
Jerry West and Pau Gasol on the same court is almost like a wet dream, and Shaq would just all over the Spur second unit.
These 1st and 2nd Laker units would work well against any team combinations imaginable and any extra Laker players outside of this could be anyone in the world because they would probably never see the court anyway. These Lakers units are sick with it’s Power, Speed and Versatility.
Coaches: Gregg Popovich and Bob Hill vs Pat Riley and Phil Jackson
that might be the saddest list I have ever seen.
10 greatest grizzlies:
Pau Gasol
Shane Battier
Rudy Gay
Mike Conley
O.J. Mayo
James Posey
Z-Bo
Marc Gasol
Damon Stoudmire
Jason Williams
Terry mings started his career as a Clipper, too. They traded him to Milwaukee for a drugged-out Marques Johnson iirc.
I think Sam Cassell's 2006 season where his play was mediocre but he provided veteran savvy that got them to the 2nd round of the playoffs makes him a top 10 Clipper of all time![]()
