Again, I don't think any significance is lost because this is still OU-Texas but I will say that this game will help shape the landscape of the Big 12 for years to come. If Texas wins, the balance of power shifts to Austin and more high school stars stay at home, if OU wins, any swagger or hype from the Rose Bowl and Ohio State wins is gone , even more kids will cross the Red River and it will signal the beginning of the end of Mack Brown's tenure.
