A 28-11 record in the lEastern Conference is less than a 26-11 record in the Bestern Conference.

The Pacers were better than I expected. They could face the Spurs again in the finals.

I think now it's a matter of WHEN we'll be in the finals and who from the west will show up. Apart from the slaughter that we recieved from the Lakers, we've held our own against the other teams. We lost to the Kings and Spurs by a combined total of three points. So I think we're the only team from the East who can hang with them.

By the best I'm referring to the elite teams of the West...Spurs, Kings, Lakers. If you throw out the loss to the Lakers, we loss to the other two "best" teams in the West by a combined total of just three points.

Oh, so you don't consider Minnesota one of the best this season? They're right there at the top of the toughest division in the league, the MidWest Division, with the Spurs.
