The only way this defense will be able to succeed is if they dominate time of possession and don't have very many 3 and outs with 3 shotgun formation plays. Brady needs to get over his love affair with the shotgun formation and stop making public demands about how much he loves using it. This offense is much better when he's taking snaps from under center.

Agreed. Brady kicks ass at the playaction, and Law Firm runs well enough to use it. The shotgun/hurryup has worked well at tiring out the defense and drawing penalties (it seems we get a 12 men on the field penalty every week) but they just bring the house eventually and crush Brady.

Also, what the happened to calling screens? We used to be able to kill teams with screens back in the Weis era.
