I've worked three jobs.

A full time 40 hour per week job. An evening job that gave me 20-30 hours a week, and a weekend job that gave me 16 hours a weekend.

So, fundamentally, I worked 7 days a week, during the day and 4 to 5 evenings a week. A lot of people do that.

We have started measuring fund management companies by the trillion, and have made them waaaay less-than-transparent.

I hope they don't feel too much need to "innovate". I had my fill of hedge fund innovation with the Credit Default Swap.

Maybe I'm oversimplifying, and I'm sure you or someone will school me on this, but aren't "asset managers" in the business of managing other people's assets? Usually thousands or millions of other people's money?

What's the problem with measuring their holdings in the trillions? Seems to me like they're a pretty healthy lot.
