    Would you be in favor of permanently making the reg season 50 or 60 games? I think
    It would not only preserve careers, but also increase compe ion.

    Oden and Bynum would love that idea. The amount of games in the season is what makes the chip all the sweeter, though.

    With MLB playing 162 regular season games a year, I think the NBA is safe with their current 82 game schedule. Of course, the NFL's one game a week thing is for obvious reasons, but it also helps prevent overexposure. We at least get a week to mull over the last game and talk about the next matchup. In the NBA, teams will dump a game just to be ready for the 2nd of a back to back.
