Fine... he was a soft got instead of soft Euro.
Del Negro lacked a three point shot and couldn't dribble that well as I recall. It always seemed like he was about to turn the ball over and was scary to watch. But I don't believe he falls in the worst of all-time bracket.
But, his girlfriend was drop dead gorgeous.
Alfrederick Hughes is in the house.

I agree: Rodman.
To me, you have to consider their--
1. contributions on the floor (a big negative for laying on he floor off the court with shoes off and towel on head),
2. as well as the money spent on them (a larger contract keeps other good players off the team),
3. and their effect on team synergy.
He fits all three.
That's something I had always wanted to know as well...
their has been to many to name them all especially during the David R. era. but lloyd daniel, jr reid, negele knight, greg sutton. tom copa, tony massenbrug, sean higgins. so many what a sad waste david prime years were
For me it is who had the greatest negative impact. Without a doubt it has to be Bonner with Mason a close second for their overall performances in the playoffs. Bringing up the rear is Charles Smith, the PF from the Knicks who bombed and of course the bomb of all Spur draft picks, Alfredrick Hughes.
I never get tired of seeing this clip.
Could be worse though; the Spurs could have given away a young Mark Jackson for his ass like New York did. LOL 90s Knicks... unbelievable that they did that trade like 3 years after giving away Rod Strickland for a finished Mo Cheeks. Amazing to have two of the top point guards of the 90s and come out of it with a finished Cheeks, a long past his prime Derek Harper and Charlie Mother ing Ward.![]()
If 3rd string ballboys count as being a Spur, I would have to go with Fabbs.
The Benedict Arnold owner who gifted the Lakers Mic e Thompson for center/forward Frank Brickowski, center Pétur Guđmundsson and a 1990 second-round draft choice and cash.
February 1987
I remember the final game of that season, the whole bench went crazy because he actually scored a basket.![]()
You mean the one who went out and got the Spurs Gilmore when they desperately needed a bigman? The one who went out and got Mike Mitc ? Drossos was a great owner for the team; McCombs is the one who was cheap and who doomed the Spurs to mediocrity despite having an all-time great in his prime. Thompson was really bad in his time in San Antonio and the Spurs had to move him. It ended up being a mutually beneficial trade as he was a great spark off the bench for LA while Brick ended up being a very solid role-player for the Spurs.
I can't believe this thread has gone on as long as it has without mentioning Richard Jefferson. It's RJ and it's not even close
That was the 1st NBA game i witnessed live, it was against the Mavs and Timmy didnt play![]()
From what I remember, it was more around the NBA back then, which is get enough big guys to foul Shaq. Bateer was part of that movement to have 6 more fouls.
You must be new.
Sidney Green
Spurs traded a 1st round pick for this ass.
thats what i thought but did he ever play for the spurs? i dont think he did
nevermind, i guess he did play for sa. huh, dont remember that, and that makes him a candidate for the worst
Can't be Rodman. He rang 5 times with other squads. Must have been a leadership issue, tbh.
Tie between Sylvester Norris and Wiley Peck. They were both big men who could rebound and then turn it over on the same play.
