Timberwolves: X-rays reveal good news for Szczerbiak

X-rays were negative on the foot that Timberwolves forward Wally Szczerbiak strained during Wednesday preseason game against the Bucks, according to the St. Paul Pioneer Press. After the injury occurred in the third quarter of the game, Szczerbiak was unable to return to the game.

It would be incredibly surprising if head coach Dwane Casey allowed Szczerbiak to play in tonight's preseason tilt against the Pacers. Expect the forward to continue receiving treatment on the foot and be ready to go when the regular season begins.
