Yeah, that's the way I take it. These guys are so used to getting their way; they assumed that they would wave their hand on a whim and the Chinese team would be willing to accommodate. And China is simply saying, "Read the brack and white, ferras"
I am not sure how any player is being held hostage when they knew the rules going into their contract. Tyson Chandler investigated the China offers and quickly dropped the thought when he was informed the could not return to the NBA until the Chinese season is over in March.
They have no coming..
Them Chinafolk are in' Gs.
Thinking you could strongarm your way out of Communist China.
Haha, Chandler is stuck there for the whole season, unless he either signs for the prorated minimum in Denver or loses his Bird Rights.
He certainly lays bricks like kobe
Offseason will be even more interesting because keeping ur MLE or some cap space will allow you to sign one of these guys in march. Maybe even for a bargain on a longer contract.
This wasnt about Kobe, but thanks for the worthwhile contribution ...![]()
Meanwhile Yi Jianlian is laughing his ass off at the dumbasses that agreed to those contract terms. Yes can you say too stupid to read the terms of the contract. http://www.niubball.com/2011/11/yi-j...ck-to-the-nba/
Asians are too clever for educated NBA players, such as J.R Smith.
I feel for Chandler. But
Kenyon + JR![]()

couldn't have happened to better guys
you don't wanna with the Chinese. There's a reason people are trying get the out ......
did they use their agents when they signed those contracts????
Why can't they just play ball and enjoy their stay? I don't get it. You're in another country and your wife and gfs are in the states leaving you to all of them asian groupies. Should be a great time.
Few hostage could get paid millions of bucks these days imho.
