something about an Aggie suddenly being a fan of USC, The University of Southern California when Texas has a single ranking to lose from it
it was a good game, I'll admit it
I love seeing games that come down to fumbles for winning touchdowns and clocks being reset (i know it was the right call, still thats what it came down to)

Suddenly a fan? I enjoy watching good football. In case you haven't noticed it with all your orange hero worship, SC plays some pretty damn good football.
Reggie Bush is the funnest player to watch in college football, you never know what he's going to do. Total hoss.
Seeings you're a little bit myopic and can't see past your orange and white Vince Young mancrush, let me clue you in - this SC team is one of the greatest any of us will ever get to see in college football. The combination of Leinhart, Bush, White, and Jarrett is probably the sickest core group of offensive players assembled in the last 20 years at least (and probably longer).
We are watching one of the great all time teams, that will be talked about for decades to come, and you're groveling about them "just getting by" like some spiteful, immature little wannabe.
Has a single ranking to lose from it? Dude, speak english.
I want UT to make it to the Rose Bowl but I don't think it's cool to tear down a team on a great run just because you are pissed at VA Tech.
Personally, I think VA Tech will lose to Florida State or Miami or both. Don't worry, Horn fans. If Texas takes care of business and wins out, everything will workout, imo.
sorry
the funnest single ranking
I'll admit USC has a spectacular offense
so thats why I want Texas to play them
in a college football contest...to see who can win
i think the spot was off by about a yard or 2 when the ball popped out of bounds on leinert's run. good game. but nd messed up by giving that long pass on 4th down. all you had to do was keep the guy in front of you. so what they get a first and 8yrds but not 20 or 30. just talent the nd secondary isnt that great or fast as the usc offense but give them credit they hung in there. the game proved one thing, keep bush in check no big plays. usc's offense will be in trouble.
VT no way they go ahead of UT if all finish undefeated.
I agree but it's not as if the Irish DB didn't have good coverage. He was right on him. The pass was absolutely perfect and in stride. That's the brilliance of Matt Leinart.
It's a good thing I don't have to talk. I'm hoarse!!!!
Can you believe what 7 seconds can do? I am so terribly bummed out. But.... I don't think this loss will affect Notre Dame's standing all that much. Geez! I am totally bummed out.... Sallie
The Irish have nothing to be ashamed of. Brady Quinn showed that he is clutch. I think the Irish are officially back.
I agree Leinart is a great QB
but Bush kept them in this one
Leinart made a key throw but still had 0 tds 2 ints, which isnt very Leinartesque
but he did have the game winning fumble
true. they should have had a deep coverage in place, two deep safeties. that was the game right there. oh well. im sure nd will start landing some recruits in the next couple of years.
ut and usc that would be one of of a ball game.
For some reason SC played conservative offensively compared to what I'm used to seeing out of them. That probably goes with their D being dinged up and trying to keep the ball away from the ND offense. They could have thrown on ND's secondary all day long.he game proved one thing, keep bush in check no big plays. usc's offense will be in trouble.
I feel sorry for people who can't see the big picture. The Big 12 is down this year. VTech still has to play BC, Miami and probably in the ACC championship game FSU. Both FSU and Miami are in the top 6. Their strength of schedule will be way higher than what Vince gets to play this year.VT no way they go ahead of UT if all finish undefeated.
VTech goes undefeated, the computer polls will put them out in top. Plus, they make it through Miami and FSU, I wouldn't be surprised to see VT hop Texas in the AP and the BCS football pros poll or whatever the it's called.
Like ive said before if Auburn SEC CHAMPION undefeated couldnt do it to Oklahoma who i cant remember what confrence is in...
I dont think its likely va tech will do
like you admitted theyve got a harder road than TX
so we'll see
and monkeys could fly out of my ass
well 4 anyway
So AHF, do you think Va Tech is good enough to beat Miami and Florida State?
sure, it might have been a little lucky that leinart fumbled which stopped the clock, but the irish always get the luck...but regardless, he also came back right after that and willed his way into the endzone. after taking all of those hits today, he shouldn't have made it in, but he twisted his way in. it was like slow motion watching it.
that was one of the greatest games i have seen. and to all the people who don't think that sc pulled thru like champions, i have one thing to say: my friend from notre dame actually called me to congratulate sc. a notre dame student who was on the field in the final seconds (and obviously very biased and emotional) knew that two great teams played some great football. period.
"great day to be a trojan"
Kayla, that was pitiful what you just said, i'm ashamed....![]()
Reggie Bush is ing insane.
Good call Rico. That spot at the end of the game screwed the Irish. The ball went out closer to the 5 than the goal line. Difference between overtime and and ND loss. Brady Quinn is the . He played very Tom Bradyesque on that final drive.
no joke h43
they should put that on a Pat Green Tshirt
HEY! Don't bring my Pat into this!!! I'm just trying to be realistic, as much as it hurts....
I'll say it right now
If Texas stays unbeaten and falls to number 4 in the bcs
I will cut my balls off
I swear.
Park explained to me how that could very well happen. And I trust him, he knows his . So pipe down there Josh. Go have a beer.![]()
the players might not have been shaking in their boots, but i sure was. games are stressful. dwayne jarrett, even after a few dropped balls, came up huge. i am going to guess that he wasn't scared.
i just hope that after the huge victory today we don't get off track against the easy teams (washington, washington state, and stanford). it would be good to be on a roll against cal, fresno state, and ucla.
I know more than Park :p
