Sorry for the meltdown. Came into work this morning and everything had gone to here. Started thinking about RJ still being on the team along with that and it just spilled over. I'm over it now...unless of course...he stays on the team.............
Looks like Denver offered Luc Moute a pretty nice contract.
Damn. Sweet move by the Nuggets.![]()

Howard is currently reviewing Utah's offer, expects more in days (hours?) to come.

Confirmed Utah has indeed made a firm offer for Josh Howard. Also confirmed the Spurs, as of now, have not.
ehhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh holy crap we really are going to hold onto RJ aren't we
"better than the rest of the field" doesn't tell me much when coach has to sit his ass on an elimination game because he ing blows and we don't have anybody else to trot out there.
Plus the stark reality is that teams are overpaying right now. Not sure Holt will be able to unload that contract until it's expiring if he doesn't do it now (as a side note: still don't understand why they handed him a player option on his last year).
It looks like the spurs are going to roll with Jefferson for one more year and use the amnesty clause on him next year.
Maybe the spurs can still sign a center like Pryzbilla to back up Splitter for this season.
At this point, I'd rather they experiment with Manu at the SF spot and spent more energy getting a strong defensive PF or C. I can't get too excited about adding an often injured knucklehead like Josh Howard to the mix.
Mbah a moute got a good deal. Sucks for the Spurs but they couldn't compete with that money.
Looks like the Bulls are about to waive Bogans. Don't even think about it, Pop![]()
Does this open up the possibility of getting Wilson Chandler currently in China? I mean why would you get 2 simmilar players Wilson and Moute
He won't be available until March... do you want to put all your eggs in that basket?
Seriously if RJ can play like anything he did at the start of last years regular season, I don't mind keeping him for the regular season (he is most capable with his corp knowledge etc). What I don't want happening is him playing in the playoffs. So yeah having RJ as a temporary staff doing rank and file regular stuff is sensible. just don't let him handle the big stuff. (move him by then) March 16 trade deadline, if not next summer with amensty
Since all the free-agent swingmen better than RJ found their teams. We should keep RJ and sign with Pryzbilla or someone like him) for veteran minimum or mini MLE.
We can search the trade options during the season.
I prefer Foster over Pryzbella if possible..
Foster re-signed with Indiana.
Spurstalk posters right now, if only Jaffies could create a video out of this to post every free agency period:
what about McRoberts and/or would the Spurs be able to use Shawne Williams?
