USC has everyone gunning for them and they haven't had a piece of cake schedule. Also, the remainder of their schedule isn't that easy. It's just as difficult as what Texas has left.

Going into South Bend and beating Notre Dame is just as, if not more impressive, than beating an Ohio State team who has proven to be something less than the #3 team in the country.

Hopefully, if USC and Texas win out then we will have a game between them to settle it. But if Va Tech wins out they have just as much a right to be there as Texas.

USC is getting the job done...I can't remember a National le team that didn't have at least a couple of close games...let alone a couple of close halves...maybe one of those Miami teams back in the late 80's. USC played a few close games last year too. But that didn't stop them from raping the pride of the Big XII in the Championship game.

Seeings you're a little bit myopic and can't see past your orange and white Vince Young mancrush, let me clue you in - this SC team is one of the greatest any of us will ever get to see in college football. The combination of Leinhart, Bush, White, and Jarrett is probably the sickest core group of offensive players assembled in the last 20 years at least (and probably longer).

We are watching one of the great all time teams, that will be talked about for decades to come, and you're groveling about them "just getting by" like some spiteful, immature little wannabe.

This is ridiculous. SC one of the greatest teams ever? They've struggled against Oregon, Arizona State, and Notre Dame. I'll be surprised if they finish the season undefeated. Recheck your TIVO, it was under 7 secs & review the rules on spotting the ball after a fumble goes out of bounds which the ball did, backwards around the 3-4 yard line.
