This is a classic overconfident Spurs reality check. The Spurs looked good last night but just about everyone not from New Hampshire played really damn well. That just doesn't happen more than once or twice a season. This team hit adversity and crumbled.

At least Pop will have some ammunition for his "don't skip steps", "we're not as good as we think", "we need to get over ourselves" mantras.

What does he have for the "half my team can't jump over a credit card" mantra?

It would be nice if Pop started Splitter and Kawhi in the 2nd half. Put Splitter on Scola and Kawhi on Martin. I'm tired of seeing Martin wide open. Tell Kawhi to stay on his ass for better or for worse.
