Not a good sign. Horrible shooting night for Melo and Stat. Watch they come out guns a blazing tomorrow night. SMH
just hope it doesn't take too long before NY realizes that TC isn't a good fit for their team and that trading him would be the best for both the team and himself, trade him back to dallas in exchange for contract plus anyone that makes the salary match
NYK will come out shooting lights out tonight.
Hey look butthurt Nugget and Mav fans mad their star players left their asses high n dry
I remember folks here said Melo trade benefited Knicks
El Che was right once again. Read it and weep es
I watched the game for a few minutes and Amare went 1-on-5 over and over and over. It was embarrassing to watch. I was thinking, "Who's the dip that's supposed to be coaching?" and then they showed him and I was like "Oh yeah."
They will oust that fat white boy and bring in another fat white boy to take his place...aka Stan Van Gundy...after he is flipped for a pack of marlboro's in Orlando.
lol not providing a link to your quote
I still think the Melo trade benefits the Knicks in the long run. They certainly gave up quite a bit. But they got the guy they wanted and he's a premier scorer in the league. Knicks might not be destined for a le anytime soon, but they weren't with the guys they had beforehand anyway. And Wilson Chandler is no longer with the Nuggets and they traded Felton for Andre Miller and Jordan Hamilton. Denver is just biding time with Andre Miller and we have yet to see what will happen with Jordan Hamilton. So as it stands as far as right now, the effect of the trade this season is Carmelo for Gallinari and Timofey Mozgov.
I like that swap for the Knicks.
That's true, and I think a motivated Melo would have been the best outcome for the Nuggets, but he hasn't been motivated since the WCF season. He wanted out and Denver got a good return.
I'm on the Gallo train. I think he has the potential to be a franchise guy. Maybe not Carmelo-at-his-best level, but certainly Eric Gordon level good.
And speaking of Mozgov, I have no strong feelings about him at all yet, but damn it's nice to see the nuggets have size up front for once. The inability of this team to box out and rebound has driven me nuts for years.
Watching Gallo play is much more fun than Melo. Gallo actually attacks the rim and passes the ball, 2 things we hardly saw Melo do
Melo could put in 40 on any given night, but I prefer the less skilled team player.
Be careful... Speaking like that around here could get you flamed...

i ordered a nene jersey this morning. woo for me.
Monta passing the ball whilst still being one of the best scoring guards in the league.
Look out world, imo.
Nene and Billups always provided more to the team than Melo had. Melo's a great scorer, but he doesn't produce at an all-around level. The Nuggets did well with that trade, but I think the Hornets did pretty well too with their trade for Paul. They've become a deep team with solid frontcourt depth and a nice scorer with Gordon plus a potential lottery pick.
I already said that the Knicks were done if they couldn't get CP3, everything they had was running on trying to get him.
I'm not sold on the Knicks. I won't be until they commit to the defensive side of the ball.
22 points on 22 shots. Simply amazing.
