What ax to grind? I made an observation, provided you statistical evidence and you made the ludicrous argument that unless you can prove something conclusively, it's a moot point.

No one is saying that Tim hasn't been declining, but what does that have to do with you overreacting and saying "the wheels may indeed be off" because of a short sample size in games? Is it not too early to tell? Do you not need to get back to us in a couple months and then we can decide?

For those reasons, I thought your comment was funny.
You may need to look up the meaning of the word "may". Also, the sample size for Tim is not just this season but apparently you fail to understand that. Jag is right, its pointless to go in circles with you.

    You win.

Say who is old ? Duncan had only 20 minutes yesterday. RJ, TP are still in their prime. Rest is young.
So playing 5 in 7 against a young team that played 5 in 7 shouldn't be an excuse. Thanks, exactly my point.

TP is washed up guys... trade him for a big and give the keys of the truck to TJ
CJ and TJ can run the show. Tony is done. See if the Heat will make a deal for Udonis Haslem so the Spurs can at least get equal value.

I know you sat there and thought hard about your retort. And the fact that this is all you came up with leads me to believe that you don't actually even buy into your own argument. Even though it's usually entertaining, I refuse to go in circles with you for the next 2 hours. If you actually think that Duncan and Parker are at similar points in their respective careers then I feel better about not having entered into a legitimate argument with you.
I never said that. Not even close. I said that TP looks like he's declined physically and the metrics early on show that trend. I was told I was an over-reactor even though I myself prefaced my statements that it's still early.

Then that same person said the wheels look to have completely fallen off of Tim the very next day. The wheels didn't look anywhere close to falling off last year for Tim and he statistically was very close to his typical production on both ends of the ball (looking at advanced metrics). So how in the same span of time that is too short to be alarmed about TP, be ok to make such a statement about Tim?

Well, some people here were saying how we're young and stuff
Do people also say we have talented young guns like Durant, Westbrook, Harden, Perkins, Ibaka? Cause its not really the same when you're best players are young and hunger and our best players are Duncan and Parker.

I`d never said it was. Spurs look bad and tired, refs also are helping OKC. Before the game I thought Spurs had chance, cause they shouldnt be tired. Well, I was so wrong about that

Its not an excuse, its a fact. They have a talented team who also happens to be much younger when you're comparing the best players on each team.

I agree, that is very silly to say to someone. That unless you can conclusively prove your statements that it's pointless to make them.
