Jesse wasn't supposed to be a permanent character on the show.
I posted Tony Montany shooting Tio in Scarface earlier.
Thought it was interesting that Tony also shoots Don Eladio. But I can't find the damn video.
Jesse wasn't supposed to be a permanent character on the show.
Oh yeah, Don Eladio was his partner, right?
that's right. and later his brother in law for maybe about 1 hour.
Manny had some of the funniest lines in the movie.
No Doz's death was supposed to be his in season 1
Oh wow....
I agree, look no further than "The Shield". I LOVE that show but it should have ended in season 5 when they duped kavanaugh. The next two seasons were just kinda there, then it ended. I honestly don't have a big problem with how it ended, I just think that they shouldn't have taken so long to make it happen (and of course, I would have liked to see them come out on top).
vince giligan (the shows creator) has mentioned this in interviews and q and a's. alot of whats happened on the show has not been planned. for example tuco was supposed to be a villain but since the actor had to leave for law and order or some show they had to kill him off. the cousins were supposed to be the main villians for season 3 until they decided they liked Gus more. it worked out well there. jesse was supposed to die a horrible death. those were his words. when they saw their chemistry in the shortened season 1 they scrapped it.
finally even specific scenes were not original. the death scene with jane. cranston says originally he was supposed to inject her with heroin while she was sleeping to kill her. they scrapped that. then he was supposed to to move her face up while she was sleeping on her side so she would choke. the final decision is what we saw. just freeze, while she choked, cry and beautiful acting by cranston.
Anyone know when the new season starts?
Just watched season 1. Not bad tbh. Some parts were very enjoyable but sometimes it got slow as . Looking forward to season 2 and 3 on Netflix.
For those of you who watch The Walking Dead.... did you notice on last nights episode when bow hunter guy pulled out his brother's bag of drugs by the camper that there on the bottom was a few ounces of Walt's finest.... blue meth? Looks like it made it all the way to Atlanta! Nice!

First... yes... I am quoting myself... but wouldn't it be something if season five of Breaking Bad ended... with a zombie pandemic. Hmmmm.
Coincidence?
I think not
Now all they have to do is replace ricin (it sounds like rice) with Lily of the Valley and no one will know it was still them.
i just want hank to walk around with a giant eating "I told you so" grin next season
Finally got caught up. Epic way to kill Gus.
Does anybody have a site to watch season 4? Or how soon it will be on netflix?
icefilms.info
Spring for the $1.99 an episode and watch it on Amazon Instant Video.
I have the link at home. I saw all of them. I'll post after work. One of them is project tv. It's free
Finally watched the whole show (at somewhat of a ridiculous marathon pace) and am completely hooked. Can't wait for season 5.
While avoiding working on my thesis, I have also been reading up on the various theories about the show's use of color and other direction/art direction signatures. But has anyone else noticed the completely ing insane paintings everyone has in their homes? Hank and Marie have over their bed what appears to be a large vase of flowers sitting in a desert landscape, the Whites have three unbelievably tacky portraits (one each of Walt, Skyler, and Walter Jr.) hanging in their hall, Walt's condo had a number of hideous landscapes, and so forth. Pretty hilarious and worth keeping an eye open for when watching. Ditto the family photos on walls and desks.
I'm ready for the show to continue, and finish up... hope not much longer to wait.
What's your thesis on?
(If you don't mind-it certainly has to be more interesting than this 20 plus page thread about a cable show>)
