Kings: Hart leaves with hip pointer

Kings backup point guard Jason Hart suffered a left hip pointer late in Tuesday's preseason loss to the Nuggets and will likely miss this weekend's pair of preseason games against the Trailblazers and Suns, the Sacramento Bee reports.

Hart was a spark off the bench for the Bobcats last season and had been one of the most consistent performers for the Kings so far this preseason. He should still be the backup to Mike Bibby, but his absence will give Ronnie Price and Luis Flores ample opportunity to battle it out for the third point guard role. Hart has fantasy value only if Bibby is hurt this season.
