Maybe, but he's just another guy who looks only to pass to Kobe. Fisher is weak, but at least he will say no to just going to Kobe and get the bigs the touches they desperately deserve IMO.
LALs new 2nd unit PG, even after Blake returns? He's showing promise and LAL has a major weakness at the spot, I think it would benefit them to develop Morris.

Every pass he made to Kobe was so high..every pass looked like it would be a turnover..he dribbles too much..doesn't look to shoot..he's ok..but we'll see down the road. Oh also..not that my opinion matters but I don't see the Lakers making any noise this season..I'm sure I'm not the only one.
The Lakers actually look pretty good when they play disciplined, but Kobe will cripple this team if he doesn't start going inside to the bigs much more consistently.
I'd have Morris play when Kobe is sitting, he has confidence and doesn't his pants when he has to guard somebody like CP3. I mean, he isn't an all-star, but we really don't have much else.
He didn't really guard CP3. I don't think it takes any special courage to sit there and get lit up.
I think he's a good prospect. Sure he's got some issues, but it's early and he's new.
Besides, the Lakers need someone else on the team who's greedy enough to say " Kobe" and run some offense.
Except he didn't do that. He dribbled and forced it to Kobe.
We know others on the team are not alpha types. If this kid is, maybe he will step up.
He was tasked to CP3 here and there, didn't stop him or anything, but stayed in front of him and CP3 had to stop toying around with the kid. He did more than you would expect a rookie to do in that situation.
Most of the first rounders look like second rounders last draft.
...without the tude.
I like him. Blake being out could be a blessing in disguise. Morris wouldn't get PT without Blake being out. We need to develop this kid for better or for worse.
People forget that Deron williams and even GP struggled as rookie PG's and they were drafted way ahead of this kid. Only the Rose, Cp3 types have really balled as true rookie PG's (tyreke doesnt count IMHO) heck Rondo was not so great either. I saw a few of his college games the kid has a swag ... i like. he was upset that Godlock was playing over him because the ONLY thing he does better than Morris is shoot. Not saying he will be a star but I think he can be abetter version of Farmar because his vision is better. Im a Bruin alumni I saw Farmar play in college. Jordan is a better athlete than Morris but this kid will be a better natural PG if he develops
