The difference between zero rings and one ring is astronomical compared to the difference between one ring and two rings, or two rings and three rings, or three rings and four rings, etc.

As long as you win one, you can be considered amongst the greats. Fail that and you'll be deservedly discounted like Barkley and Malone.
