Pop will get on Splitter for missing that shot even though Bonner missed the 3.
Tbh, Bonner has been manhandling Scola on the boards. I guess it's no fluke that Scola's rebounding has plummeted this year.
Pop will get on Splitter for missing that shot even though Bonner missed the 3.
Splitter misses a number of blocks just by not having his hands up.
Tiago and Tony were great. Blair and Green terrible. Joseph is also very bad but I can't blame the kid. Too raw
Down 6 at the half is better than I expected.
No Tim or Manu, Houston should be ting themselves at only having a six point lead.
Bonner with a team high 17 minutes.
Down 6 at the half isn't bad considering only Splitter and Parker have shown up. Need to get some help from others to win this one.
All in all it was actually a pretty solid half. Expect Houston to put it away in the 3rd though
Let's recap at the half:
Matty: 18 mins, 3-9, 8 points, 3 boards
Tiago: 16 mins, 5-7, 11 points, 4 boards, 3 assists
If Pop is serious about trying to win this game Splitter should start the second half..
So do I, but the Spurs' rotation defending the pick and roll is just historically bad this year. Why Phoenix ever went away from it against the Spurs still puzzles me.
i think JA needs a chance because danny green is sucking big time.
16 consecutive minutes from Splitter but he couldn't start. Pop just wanted to did hole for the team to fight out of. This is pathetic decision making from Pop yet again. I don't even know what to think of Pop anymore.
tbh, Scola was pretty quiet... especially since he's 4-4 from the field
I wouldn't mind seeing JA get another chance. It's not like Green or Neal are tearing it up.
we need more plays execution, not fkn chuckn up shots
wow, HOU shooting almost 60%...
Spurs 2-11 from 3... Matt 2-8![]()
Im proud of the guys overall. Thought this would be a lot worse.
Definitely a loss IMO
NBA LP only has the Rockets feed. They're showing girls playing basketball. lol women playing sports
I'd like to see Anderson for a few minutes, too..it's not as if RJ, Green or Joseph have made any contributions..he's been terrible, this year, but I'd give him a shot to redeem himself here..
Meh you think? To me he does a great job of extending his arms in most situations.. 3 times against Scola he bodied him up well but then just turned straight to the rim for the rebound without bothering to defend the shot.
He could block those shots if he really wanted to.
