    Giuseppe spits in the face of Kori every time he spouts off about principle. He and Kool's mistake was thinking Kori allowing freedom and having a golden heart meant she was weak and had no principle herself. She did everything in her power to create a place that could live with their kind; where they could be happy and not have the threat of _ always looming.

    This was largely true, but Kori only did so when you never crossed a line. That line, due to her nature, was so far past everyone else's, but there was a line. She gave them insight into this when she stated "real men don't welsh". Because of her kindness however, Cull and Kool ignored her warnings and now they've forced her into this and it's a damn shame. She is principled. She is loving. But they've crossed the only line she really had and kept doing it with impunity. Now they will know.

    Nephew or not has nothing to do with. You told her you are principled, you are not. Whether I'm better than you or not has no bearing on her decision. It's coming and the fact you don't know why makes it all the more justifiable in her eyes. The fact you argue against it and implore her not to do so only strengthens her resolve in the matter.

    I have my list of things to work on, but none on my list are of the "non-negotiable" variety in her eyes. "Real men don't welsh" wasn't just a catch phrase, it's her golden egg.

    Now that I've got you to admit that, you finally now know why we are different in her eyes (in addition to the relation). I'm not saying it's right or wrong, I'm simply giving you insight into Kori's decision. You are free to feel whatever you wish about the merits of her decision.
