He's gotten better at taking it up strong, but that is the next phase of his game to improve.

Damn it, Tiago. Finish that strong! Great pass by Tony.
He messed up his steps and was too far away from the rim to dunk it.

Considering Toronto averages 88 points per game, I thin it's safe to say our defense still needs a lot of work
Sure, but it's one game out of many. Even very good defenses have a lapse or face hot shooting teams occasionally.

This is what the Spurs deserve for messing around in the 3rd quarter and letting them get hot. And the problem with going small to match them is that their guards and wings are shooting a red hot %, ours not so much

    TP and Tiago look tired.
And given the minutes Tony has played, he has every reason to look tired.

lol the vast majority of his points are the result of good passes and him finishing. not taking the pass, posting up, making a move and making a basket
I actually just told your illiterate ass what percentage of his offense was created from posting up.

    13% from offensive rebounds
36% from posting up -------> creating his own shot

Raps can't score when they need to, but they're a much improved defensive unit.

Tiago with the redemption. He is so adept at that underneath reverse lay up.
The thing that sets him apart from most is that he hits it equally well with either hand.
