"When he comes back, we're going to find out very quickly where things are at," Carlisle said during his weekly appearance Friday on the ESPN Dallas 103.3 FM's "Galloway & Co." "He's going to have to show us with his actions and at ude that he's in."

"Mark asks a fundamental question of anybody in our franchise: Are they in or are they not in?" Carlisle said. "Our fans want to know that Lamar's in. Our players want to know that Lamar's in. It's not about how many points he's scoring or rebounds; those things are a factor. Our fans, our players want to see the guy playing like his pants are on fire and we haven't seen that so far and that's got to change."

He can't come back now. He's been humbled, humiliated, and sent to the Tree of Woe.

"Idk why he ever demanded a trade from LA when he'd be emo playing for any of the other 29 teams"

Because he can't think past 5 minutes in front of himself. Kupchak knew that. As the father figure it was in bent upon Mitch to mentor his ward at stately Buss Manor.

This is why NBA players hate Texas…Y’all so insensitive…Has Carlisle ever been in Lamar’s shoes? Do the Mavericks have a therapist that has tried to reach out to Lamar? Have there been any Yoga classes offered to Lamar to help him find his “Center”…If the Mavericks had recognized two months ago that Lamar was hurting they could have placed him on a healthy Omega-3 rich diet and Lamar would have been back to his “6th man of the year” form…None of this would have happened in Los Angeles…

listen...I'm going to peep you on some game...LO doesn't want to play for DALLASPERIOD! After cruising the streets of Hollywood he wants nothing to do with ing Dallas...they offer him nothing...

Cuban thought he was so clever in objecting to the CP3 trade to LA but what goes around comes around...he gave us a TPE and LO in turn gave him and after-wards will walk without having contributed a got dam thing to the Mavs except negativity...It's a great job by LO and I'm proud of him for it...LO was part of a team swept by Dallas so for Cuban to think he would just flip the switch and join his team after that was disingenuous at best.

We still have until the trade deadline to see whats happening but by all accounts LA won in that deal and we could end up smoothing things over getting him back and adding him back to our bench...

...that's a flawed accounting procedure, Kool. Odom's failure in Dallas doesn't balance our books. We're still in the red. We're currently treading water, but, we're going to reach for him come Spring and all the laughter will die in sorrow at that point.

yes some more moves will have to be made to get Odom back at a lower rate but I like our chances...I'm all about getting #6 and I don't ing care who we have to stomp on and roll over to get it...Scobe has been Tea-bagging TOSB at 5>4 long enough...it's time for that dude to get off of Kobe's balls and give Scobe's scrotum some breathing room...so when Scobe makes it 6>4 then TOSB will finally have his mouth off of Kobe's balls and he in turn will be able to breathe again himself
