More like 10 games imo. Some teams have also played more games than others.

should grant wild cards to them 9-10 seeds imho. gap ain't very big between the 9-10 "seeds" and the 8th and we see teams missin out on the playoffs every season by a hair which's always a pity, especially in the western conference. if stern invoked a wild card rule in this game we'd probably get more wildcard miracles (like the cardinals last season )
