Because we dont have Blair to fall back on as a big. Not sure if he hurt the knees early but had a bad step. Now we need Splitter to be available to play when Timmy is out.
I wonder if Blair's injury forces the Spurs to make a move? Doubtful since you'd imagine if there was one available they would have pulled the trigger.
