Done deal. I feel partially bad cause RJ really was big in our win last night.
He owed the spurs at least that much...

    Thanks for the explanation.
    no problem
The spurs do not want to waste 20+ mil. unless that absolutley have too..You talk about amnesting RJ as if though the spurs are off the hook for all the $ he is owed, they are not...
I agree 100%. The Spurs are not a particularly wealthy club which complicates the amnesty plan a good deal. It comes down between which path do the Spurs find more appealing: Swap RJ for Capt. Jack and move forward, or amnesty RJ, take the financial hit but gain cap space for this summer. I think a lot depends on who, if anyone the FO thinks we could get with that cap space. I've never seen FAs line up to come here exactly, so this trade wouldnt surprise me. In the short term I would definitely be a fan of it as well. I guess Hibbert really was always a pipe dream anyway.

I bet it was a showcase honestly, he hadn't driven to the basket all year then he does so out of a TO.

Yea you're right. I guess it's frustrating cause there were games every now and then when he looked really solid. It just happened like every few weeks. I think with Jackson we'll get a lot more consistent contributions

Just thinking, do we start Jackson or bring him off the bench? Or does Manu come off the bench? one thing should be certain and that's that Kawhi should be starting!

Kaman is gonna be bought out. With SJax on board, he could chose Spurs.

If we grab Chris Kaman, legitimate championship contenders. We'd cream OKC due to matchups.

I'm a little scared regarding the Lakers though; Sessions and now Beasley? ugh...they become contenders as well.

who cares about that 1st rounder. Anderson and Joseph were also 1st rounders and so far they don't look good. We got Lorbek and De Colo.

I don't understand why 'should' & 'inevitably' are in the same sentence.

This year's draft is supposed to be stacked though!

We may have had some flops (mainly due to other player's emergence, like Neal and Green which compromised James Anderon's development - plus don't forget the injury) and Cory Joseph was in a terrible draft pool (no training camp as well).

George Hill was a late 1st rounder, we got Dejuan as well in the 2nd round too. Both proved to be valuable roleplayers.

Don't worry, Lorbek is better than any 27th drafted guy.

I hope your right, you can never be sure with international players, especially if they will come over.

Also, source on whether the Beasley deal went through?
