Marcus Camby was dealt by the Portland Trailblazers Thursday in an 11th hour deal that sent point guard Jonny Flynn and Hasheem Thabeet from Houston in exchange for the veteran center.

Camby will be a nice addition for the Rockets, giving Houston a dominant low post prowess from the 2007 Defensive Player of the Year.

Meanwhile, Blazers fans will have to wonder what team wants out of Flynn and Thabeet.

Yeah this one makes you scratch your head cause I don't see what Portland gets out of it. Salary swap. Both sides are expiring contracts. Portland might and I stress might get a 2nd round draft pick out of it.

Ensures the Rockets have interior post defense 48 minutes a game with Dalembert/Camby. Helps us become slightly better than mediocre (just like everyone else in the west). Good move for the now, no impact on the future at all.

There was no future at all with Flynn and Thabeet, at least you guys get a solid defensive big for a season or two.

Portland taking a chance on Flynn and Thabeet's potential..it's worth the risk, it helps them tank, at the same time..
