Beating the Thunder at home, even on a b2b for them, is a big win. Bigger than Dallas by a mile.

the beginning of SC didn't even mention the Spurs/Thunder. You know if they had won it would have been top story. "The Thunder with a huge comeback win against a tough veteran San Antonio squad!"

So, no Ginobili, no SJax, no Splitter, on the road, against the best team in the west and the result is a win?
GREAT ING WIN.
Im seeing jackson playing tomorrow?
I know.![]()
Bonner hit that 3 when we were up 20, but when we were close, he couldn't even breath and walk at the same time. He's end of the bench material at that time of the game in that situation, but we had what we had.
Wonder how Manu feels knowing his team does better without him? j/k
Loved that win. Survived the obvious comeback. Didn't flinch. Came back.
Victory.

Typical. Of course if it was Thunder-Lakers, it would get 20 minutes of coverage.
Um, Pop had no choice. Splitter was out.
No. I'm basing it on the fact that people who try as hard as he does eventually get things to click. He's tried and failed multiple times in the past, this is the year he gets it right. It's his best year as a pro so far. He's not nearly the liability he was on D two years ago. he's still below average, but better than he was.
Ideally we'd have Ryan Anderson playing his role, but we don't. Our team needs a stretch 4 to spread the floor and make the O work. He's going to keep playing. So I'm going to be optimistic that he gets it right in the playoffs this year. , he hasn't been the reason we've lost in the playoffs anyway, he's just been a minor contributing factor.
I would be remiss if I didn't acknowledge that the first half was a...

Bonner was torn mentally when he airballed the layup in the 3rd Q
no against an AGING veteran San Antonio Squad![]()
Huge upsets in college ball today. Spurs OKC story next.
First of all, Matt was guarding Royal ing Ivey in the game. the thunder were extra small with Collison/Ibaka as the only big. Pop could have easily gone small with Neal or JA instead of Bonner.
Instead bon bon went 0-2 in the qtr and left Ivey for what could have been a game tying 3 pointer.
Second of all, he's been trying his ass off for the last 3 years and he's choked every damn time. You can try all u want but some people were born losers and chokers and he's one of them.
i appreciate your over the top homerism in these threads but saying Bonner is going to get over the hump after THIS game is pretty dumb.
You like watching the same movies over and over and each time thinking it will have a different ending.....
You get what you pay for....
Cover of ESPN "HOT STOP IN PHILLY" lmao
Green and Leonard: 36 points 9 rebounds 8 steals on 13 for 21 shooting.
These two players need consistent minutes, and giving Neal/Manu the back-up PG role, allows that to happen.
Great ing win!
they should get that getting sj makes manu come off the bench IMO
Yet people do have limits, and it's pretty obvious that Bonner in pressure situations equals fail 100% of the time. Tonight was a regular season pressure game, and he still went into the fetal position... yet still ranked the highest in +/-, even though he was the worst player overall. Damn +/- king.![]()
ing ESPN, a giant article about the Knicks not sucking terribly... A small blurb about the Spurs shredding the "best" team in the West.
Spurs are lucky that this is not a playoff game and OKC play subpar defense
I dont know how any Spurs fans can defend Bonner Spurs are lucky that Green/KL played excellent defense and hit 3pts
