We all know what sitting on the bench did for Duncan
Please.
You're still tryin' to get even for Jackson & Diaw quittin' and you hiring 'em.
Let us proceed...
We all know what sitting on the bench did for Duncan
All kidding aside, I think this was the best thing Brown could've done to assert himself with Kobe. Unfortunately for him, Kobe will probably call for head this off season for showing him up in this instance...
Kobe quit. Forced a sub.
come on man, you really believe this ? kobe forced that aweful shot when matt barnes and sessions were open beyond the arc which resulted in a fastbreak putting the grizz up by double digits.
if it wasnt for those stupid laker fans chanting kobe im willing to bet kobe's ass would stay on that bench until the end of regulation.
You mean got him a win... and a technical? I'll take it!![]()
I bet Kobe shoots less than 12 times next game.
Duncan quit
DND - OLD
You're just made because Jackson & Diaw quit and I caught ya on it.
Grow up.
You're just mad because Jackson & Diaw quit and I caught ya on it.
Grow up.
Ironic coming from somebody who physically abuses their spouse.
True. Kobe doesnt respect Brown. It was a great calculated risk from Brown.
Last play by Kobe before the sub was pure garbage while Bynum was beasting. He deserved it
I dont know why exactly he did it. But to say he was "benched" is stretching it ... Kobe hadnt rested he wa sobviously frustrated maybe MB wanted to calm his ass down. Really it doesnt matter why I thought he should of done it earlier ... he really doesnt manage rotations well at all. Should of pulled Kobe & Bynum after we tied game. they BOTH needed some rest.
The commentators were acting like this was a disciplinary thing for hitting the chair.
Are they sure it had nothing to do with him dribbling the ball for 20 seconds and settling for a 18 foot fadeaway over a defender from the baseline? Can't believe they ignored that.
Not mad at all. Spurs on a nice winning streak.
Unlike the Lakers.
har, har, har.
Come ta Pappy.
Signed,

How the is any coach supposed to manage rotations with the Lakers roster? Outside Gasol, Drew, Savior, and Kirby, it's absolute . You basically have to subs ute by feel game-to-game since you can't count on any one bench player giving you a solid 10-20 minutes.
No argument there, MB is a horrible rotation coach even during his stint in Cleveland.
Im beginning to suspect that Brown possibly benched Kobe because he wasn't also playing defense and was taking Tony Allen for granted.
Juicy details tomorrow.
Barnes is solid. They could use a guy like Nick Young or Beasley thats for sure.
Mike doesn't understand
He needs those 4 minutes to keep chasing records

Kobe was baffledHe couldn't believe a scrub like Brown would have the balls to bench a player like him
That was a good dose of reality check for sure.
Oh, yeah. Those two have been stellar.![]()
det bruno mars got would be carrying Cory Josephs shinebox if he played for the classy Spurs, tbh.
