In honor of our latest spur, i thought it might be a good time to start a thread about Aussie Rules Football.

I cant understand why it never got popular outside of Australia, it has enough elements to make it appealing. It has a similar athleticism to basketball, the gladiatorial component of American Football.

Its a great game, and I encourage you all to check it out, it got announced that Fox Sports are taking over broadcast rights to it in the US and this time around are going to give it a fair go coverage wise.

http://www.afl.livesport.tv/ is like NBA league pass. There are a few torrent sites to around to give it a look at a bit lower quality but for free. Games worth watching from this weekends rounds are

Both are very close games and very exciting .

FYI Pattys team is the Adelaide Crows, however his cousins Alwyn Davey plays for Essendon, and other Cousin Aaron Davey played for Melbourne Demons
