    Bandwagoner.

Where could he have magically materialised another perfect big for the system from? He's developed a new system working with the talent he's been able to acquire. Also, the game has changed - not many teams win with scores in the low 80s any more, in fact, none do.

Absolutely. Hee needs to take what he's learned in this game and apply it to the next two.
He has a perfectly good big that he sits on the bench and plays limited minutes per game.

Bring on the Toros bench, maybe they would at least make a shot.
    38 % is unbelievable.

Wow this is the worst game I've seen in years. No offense, no defense, no chance, with a full team playing against shorthanded team missing their best player at home, getting killed. Just awful.

The thing of it is, we're not even playing that bad defensively. The Lakers are making absolutely every outside shot. MWP is a ing awful shooter and he couldn't miss.

I'm a lot more concerned about the offense. Everyone settling for jump shots and the ball movement was abysmal. At least with the bench unit it's a little better, but the loss is completely on Tim, Tony and Pop, for not getting his head out of his ass.

If he can't realize that Tiago plays at both ends better than Blair or Diaw, I don't know what to say. He's just a stubborn ing old fool.

Lakers aren't this good. Playing out of their minds tonight but Spurs have been pretty bad in their own right.

Cliff-jumpers: WAKE UP. In the scheme of things this game means very little. If this happens 3 games in a row, then you can panic, but right now Pop is trying to find lineups that can beat the Fakers in the playoffs. He's failed in this game, doesn't mean he will in the next one.
The next Lakers game is in the middle of a back to back to back and it's at staples center.

Pop will rest everyone for that game.

I don't like his coaching at all. These guys look like total off of that rest.

We have a deep, deep team. That's how you rest people by using your depth, not giving them the night off and telling everyone else to bust their ass only to watch those three guys play like dogs when they get back.

I want Stern to start fining teams for doing this.

MWP tied his season high points. How many players have done that to us this year?

Manu and Tp off, Pop never found a lineup that worked, Fakers can't miss... terrible game, but I don't think we'll see it repeated.

It's annoying how Spurs "fans" jump ship after one bad game. This team has more to it. Shame on all of you who give up on them because of one atrocious game where Pop was clearly tinkering with the playoffs in mind.

Also, this is a wakeup call for the team. Pop might pull the soft card after this one, and with a few weeks to the playoffs the timing couldn't be better.

Wow- Spurs didn't come to play tonight. What a disappointment; they lacked intensity, focus, defense and no one can shoot or attack the boards. Spurs need to just call it a night and forget about this one. Regroup for tomorrow.

Since we're obviously losing this game, why not let the Duncan-Splitter line-up get some work in?

Heh... if the Spurs suddenly went 10-10 on 3's they still couldn't win this game.
I was semi-optimistic until Artest hit that flat footed 3 - Its probably over now.

Yep...Pop's love for Blair/Bonner is the only thing holding this team back from being a serious contender. We can always cross our fingers that someone else knocks the Lakers out for us but we ain't beating them in a playoff series.
