Yeah. Lakers want to absolutely avoid OKC. Spurs is a much better matchup.
Portland Monday night is 2nd of a back to back, obvious big 3 rest game. Also no way Pop plays big 3 in both of those two road games to end the season. So basically MINIMUM of 3 games we may lose due to resting some or all of the Big 3. Also possible he throws a 4th game by either leaving big 3 home that last road trip, or bringing but not playing them. Highly unlikely we see any of the big 3 that last game against GS, to rest them for the playoffs.
BUT, small chance they would play if the game actually mattered. Pop has already said he would not chase OKC, but did not say anything about holding off LAL.
I would hope he would a least bring the big 3 on that last road trip, if our seeding relative to OKC or LAL was still in doubt. If not, typical Pop may be leave them resting in S.A. Hopefully that does not send us into the playoffs on the heels of 2 ugly losses.

it...it doesn't matter who we play...we're winning it all this year.
Would be fun if Spurs tanked that game to stay at #2, while GS is also trying to tank to keep Utah's pick. That could get ugly.
Spurs win and Thunder lose
Great night.
and Tom Boonen..
The Spurs are not losing the last game. GS will forfeit if it had to, to lose that game.
And Mavericks lost. Not relevant to our seeding, but just a good thing in principle.
OKC is 5-5 in the last 10 games. That has allowed SA to claw back.
you'll see a lot of own tip-in baskets...
Spurs are getting the Number 1 seed.
OK City will choke again this year.
They are still a year or two away from being able to climb over the top.
OK City is choking away the top seed. That team is not ready yet to win the big game.
