We can do that when the time comes.
We can do that when the time comes.
crofl I meant to quote Nono...dets my bad
too bad he didn't, or else your foolish pride wouldn't be endangering your wallet![]()
We know you won't, unless it's a womanly $25 bet![]()
I disagree. I hope Pop is looking at the numbers (I doubt it) and remembering that as you said it's the first time Tim has scored double digits against the Lakers. I hope Pop remembers that our entire team was basically outrebounded by one guy. I hope Pop realizes that he can't send Tim or Tiago out against the LAL frontcourt by himself. Make no mistake. If Blair/Bonner/Diaw are the rest of our "bigs" we're done here.
What it seems like people are forgetting is the fact that there was nothing flukish about the beatdown we took last time. If we're starting (again) with Blair on Bynum then I expect to see similar results. Ditto if the big 3 sit and Pop for some reason gives Splitter the start. You have to match size with size to try and slow down their frontcourt while hoping our perimeter can do more than theirs.
These rotations and this horrific mismanagement of our players and the impact it's having on our defense (Blair is still seeing minutes after all), will be our downfall in the playoffs. The Spurs' championship hopes are razor thin even if everything goes right. Pop needs to get it together and start putting the team in a better position to win games against opponents like the Lakers.
People sleeping on dem Lakers... Kobe is getting rest and his legs back, while Bynum is getting on a roll beasting on s...
Surprised you'll say this, seeing I once had a sizable bet with you over a Lakers vs Spurs series that never materialized, tbh.
I'm 4-0 in money bets with spurstalk posters here. 3 have welched, one paid. I just can't lose here
I should add DD called off the bet when Manu got injured. Classy Lakerfan![]()
Was that last year? If so you owe me money n.igga![]()
Everybody loses at some point...![]()
damn I'm such a good guy
That was 2009
You followed up with:
Hey man,
If you wanna call off the bet now I'm cool with it. I'm pretty fair when it comes to these things, and the Spurs w/o Ginobili are going to steamrolled by LA (no smack intended). So it's up to you bud...let me know either way if you want out now. take it easy
I miss them too, Jeebs.
I miss them too.
Hopefully my Spurs will actually compete this game.
I was a lot nicer in 2009![]()
2010–11 San Antonio Spurs season
Record 61–21 (.744)
Place Division: 1st (Southwest)
Conference: 1st (Western)
Playoff finish Lost in first round to Memphis (2–4)
That team was as fool's gold as they come...
Even your average Spurfan agreed![]()
I just find it funny when the fat be@ner grays play the "regular season champs" card when they are the ing DEFENDING regular season champions. Not only that but the Spurs nowadays are the epitome of a team built exclusively for the regular season imo.
ElNono, this current Spurs team is also fool's gold as currently coached. The reason why things are looking better for the playoffs this year is because the Western Conference has changed.
