Messi could've tapped that... didn't notice during the game
I am going to watch the game on Saturday and hear the commentators slob all over CSKA London. Come on RvP, beat thse ers up.
Messi could've tapped that... didn't notice during the game
Lol if Chelsea tries this defensive at Nou Camp, expect a red card on Drobga.
I wonder if Barca will appeal about the pitch because it was so wet.
This is the only thing I hate about this sport............. the better team not always win..... that's probably what makes it unique and interesting, still, it's a ing shame that a team that plays like this idiots at home end up winning.
It'll be difficult for Barcelona at home... it'll be exactly the same thing we saw today.... it may be different only if Barca scores early.
tlong taking a on Football(Spurs)talk
Exceptions? I don't think there's another sport in which the team that doesn't dominate wins so much.
You're acting like it's an impossible task for Chelsea to eliminate Barca and you're wrong. They can pretty damn well eliminate Barca, specially after today.
This wouldn't have happened if Alexis and Cesc weren't re ed enough to not finish the goal chances that were handed to them.
As happy as I am that Barca lost, they are going to ing DESTROY Chelsea at camp nou.
Please prove me wrong Chelsea
No that's one of the better things about this sport. Everyone knows Barcelona is the best team in the world. It would be pretty pointless to watch if the best team always wins.
And Chelsea did by my book an amazing tactical and disciplined game. Just hope the refs won't up on Barca side as usual on the second leg.
This will make up for an interesting Clasico -- Real and Barcelona lost their first CL legs.
I guess you're right.... my point is, millionaire team with world class players, defending and producing absolutely nothing in offense outside of A counter attack the whole game AT HOME. It worked for them can't deny it.
Good game by Chelsea (this must have been one of the best games I've seen Ashley Cole play), but how Barca managed not to capitalize on at least one of their goalscoring opportunities, they'll probably never know themselves.
Well, everything is set for a pair of thrilling second legs.
PS: Dani Alves was pretty awful tonight.
why dont they let barca score
Obviously jerseys were too wet this evening.
Humidity will be low at Camp Nou, WATCH OUT.
This is really bad though. No one here should be happy with this result because now Tlong is going to come in here and treat this forum like one of his favorite sheep. I take no joy in the result today because of this.
Yeah I'm lying. I loved the result still.![]()
I would agree with that, except we're not talking about your "average" team in the sport. We're talking perhaps the best team we've seen in the sport. You just can't generalize when it comes to an exceptional team.
I'm not saying it's impossible, I'm saying it's very, very unlikely. Especially playing at home. Not taking anything away from Chelsea, but today Barça beat themselves. They had 4 chances with the goalie already beat and they blew it. If you're going to put your money on them blowing chances like that at home again, then I think you'll be in for a surprise.
BTW, I'm not making up the 4 chances... Alexis hitting the bar, Cesc with the weak shot that Cole cleared on the line, Pedro hitting the post at the end and whoever kick the ball into space from the rebound on that same play. I'm not even counting the stops Cech made.
Well Messi couldn't do it on a cold night in London![]()
barca
can't finish
barca jinx, almost always comes back to haunt me when I'm too confident on a team
but in all seriousness, I think Chelsea goes to Camp Nou and rapes Barca, 3-0 Chelsea.
Meanwhile at the AFC Champions League
I give Chelsea 51% of eliminating Barca right now and if they score in Barcelona that % goes all the way up to 99%
