I knew I was forgetting a Griz guy. Thanks.
They aren't the same as last year at all.
[QUOTE=TheSkeptic;5830449]My su ion is that Chicago is going to be upset in the second round tbh. But I get your sentiment which is why I'm hoping the Spurs can work on those final touches on the way there.
Disagree. The Celtics went 1-3 vs. them this season and one of those wins was without D-Rose.
All signs point to them making quick work of Utah, but the best thing about the way the playoff bracket shook up is that the Mavs, Thunder, and LA Lakers are all on the other side of the bracket. On the Spurs side is Utah, the Memphis Grizzlies, and LA Clippers. San Antonio went a combined 9-2 against those teams in the regular season and one of those games came with the Big 3 on the bench.

I'm hoping that the Spurs will bring the speedball out and see how long it takes before Corbin abandons his 3 bigs lineup.
In regards to the 9-2 record, the other loss was vs. the Clippers with Parker out. Pretty sure that if Parker had played that game it would have been another W.
b-b-but Parker's shoulder!
For now. Manu gets hurt almost every year, nose, something. I feel about 50/50 on him this post season.
In the regular season. He's never seen a post season game from the floor so we don't know what a rookie will do.2. Leonard already has proven he can reduce Gay's production.
Grateful for that.3. Shane is with the heat.
That too4. Arthur is missing.
Probably not, but his boards and short range baseline shots could be bothersome.5. Randolph is a motal again. Don't see him raining 3 balls like last year.
They are, but they too worry me in the post season with injuries, especially with how physical teams get in the post, where both of them spend a great deal of time. I can see someone trying to take Tony out on a fast break.6. TP and Tim are both playing way better than last year.
We beat these guys in transition, and we don't let up on the attack.
I'm staying with my prognostication.... as long as we're healthy, not concerned with the Grizzlies or the Lakers. The only concern in the West is OKC, IMO.
Just had a look at the brackets. For some reason I thought their second match-up was Miami.
I guess my thing is that I don't see Derrick Rose staying healthy and while the other Bulls have stepped up this season I just don't think they'll be able to sustain that in the play-offs against the truly elite teams. After seeing that Bradley kid at work as well, I also have to give Boston a puncher's chance in the second round as well.
We have the goods. The ball is in the hands of coach pop, now. I believe
