Speaking of John Jones he alone could take out Iron Man and Captain America.
Obviously the Marvel-ites are more hard edged but when it comes to talent they pale in comparison to the DC-ers.

Spider-Man is nowhere near as fast as most of the heroes you listed. He has no business being on there.

How do we know what? What made you think that super speed is one of Spider-Man's powers? He's fast but not comparable to the Flash.
I realize he can't run with Flash or most there. But he did take on those spider abilities. A spider can haul ass we just don't notice it because of their size.
But....if you have somebody known for their speed I'll dump Spiderman.

Spiders are quick, not necessarily fast. I think Hulk could outrun Spidey.
