Like I said anything can happen Memphis lead is just 3 now.
What I'm saying is that anything can happen but yeah Memphis does have a really good team.

Don't look now, but MEM is choking the game away...
Please hand in your fan card.
Looks like we're gonna be playing the Clippers in the WCSF.![]()
Holy , let's all freak out. A wrist sprain is not a debilitating injury unless he tore a ligament which I highly doubt..woodknock. He will be fine.
But yeah he needs some wrist on applied directly to the wrist, post haste.
It is a not a 1 game series.
When you get kicked in the balls like the Grizzlies did, you just don't get back up and start running, the swelling gotta go down first.
Memphis will win the next game.
Awesome come back by the Clips. But they lost Caron Butler for the rest of the playoffs.
Still, they help us by either polishing off the Grizzlies or at least tiring them out. Go Clippers!
Why do I always choose to click on these damn threads?!? Enough already!![]()
Butler went down too? Damn guys are going down left and right this year! Not that I'm like, happy about it or anything.
lol "fan card"
Butler broke his hand, wouldn't be shocked at all if clippers don't win another game
If Memphis wins the series, it will prove they have no memory. That is a of a way to lose...
Chris Paul begged coach Vinny Del Negro to put him back into the game for the fourth quarter and not give up despite being down 21 points.
Wonder what Pop would have said. Actually it might have been a go, they got a bunch of young guys.
The same Memphis that just squandered 27 for a big L last night?
Caron is out for the postseason? welp that locked the grizz for the next round...hes one of the only physical guys they got on that team
There are a lot to learn from this comeback for Spurs.
Regarding Grizzlies:
- Defensively, their weakness are Mayo and Gay. They are horrible off the ball defenders. Use that to your advantage with off the ball screens, cuts and curves.
- Offensively, what you want you don't want is Gasol having the ball in his hands and Conley distributing the ball. Randolph, gay and Mayo are ballhogs. Just let them play 1vs1.
Regarding Clippers:
- When they start rolling, hack one of their big. Griffin, Jordan, Martin and Evans are all horrible free throw shooters. It's ugly but it's an easy way to stop their momentum. Grizzlies should have done it.
- If Spurs beat Utah and face Clippers, Mills will definitively be needed. Neal won't survive to their quick backcourt.
Good points. Well, Memphis' biggest strength isn't their bigs anymore tbh, because Randolph is now back to his old-self and will not do another MJ-esque performance in the PO. I agree that Memphis strength is now Gasol dominating the paint and having those good mid range looks and Mike Conley. While I trust TP to on Conley if we face them, if Mike gets his ballhog teammates involved then it will be our main problem. Also, Grizzlies bench isn't that scary anymore.
Well then the Spurs might as well just quit then.

Anyone catch the box score of the last regular season game vs the Grizz?
I think if Splitter is out for that series, it simply means more Duncan.
That would suck for wear and tear, but the Spurs will still win the series.
Btw, Bonner was 1-6 from 3 pt range, + 22 for that game.
Lol
Actually, in the previous top-three biggest fourth-quarter comebacks, the lossing team ended up playing the NBA finals (two of them won the le):
2002: Celtics over Nets (21 points)
2011: Blazers over Mavs (18 points)
1994: Suns over Rockets (18 points)
It sometimes happens that one team is so superior to the other that may forget playing hard and focused after earning a comfortable lead, so the weaker team is allowed to erase big scoring deficits. But it doesn't mean the stronger team won't prevail in the series. I think the Grizzlies will just get it done; they are simply better.
looking like no tiago no problem right about now
