He didn't tank for Metta. He did it because he figured out that more games = more career points.
Left out the most important thing, ings. Kobe wants Perkins back for Game 1 to cross that fool and rip his knee up again. Extending this series helps get Perkins on the court in Game 1.

What if Harden pulls out a shank from his pockets during game 1 and stabs Artest? I don't want that to happen but you have to think that Harden wants to knock the out of Artest for payback. Harden seems like the type that you don't want to with.
