Not bad, could of had both picks Gordon and Bledsoe.
They have a chance to draft a better PG.

Clippers weren't gonna let Bledsoe go unless Paul signed an extension.

a true powerball-type lotto would be cool and more exciting than watching a scrawny guy opening envelopes. that makes as much sense as hiring an independent officiating crew. but Stern will never give up control.
Plus who gives a about interviewing Prokorov's stank box?
Have the machine, the ball spitting numbers and interview the top 3 potential stars ...

So you say. Read an article on the Clips GM said that he was bluffing acting as though he was ok running Chauncey at PG, but stern's dumbass never called his bluff. You think Clips were turning down a Paul trade over an injured Bledsoe? Bledsoe is not even a PG, he is a bavckup combo guard but better than Aminu ...

Maybe, but if they weren't bluffing, then they may have been stuck with Paul too long and won more games which would have cost them winning the lottery.

Bledsoe isn't even that good so who cares if he wasn't included?

No need for this continue the deal is done. Im just saying I HATE Aminu ... Bledsoe is no superstar, but would be a much better asset is all I am saying.

all those questions were stupid. I thought the Russian chick was sharing state secrets with Prokorov, or maybe she was just saying her pussy was wet. either way, it's really stupid.

steve nash once said they should make the lottery teams have their own tournament, and whoever wins it gets the top pick. he was basing it on some soccer league. that would work as well as a real lottery, not this Stern reacharound.

just admit you were wrong. Calling Stern stupid after pulling off a very good trade while saving the franchise from a crippling trade which led to the num 1 & 10 pick all because of a guy you just said was an injured backup combo guard????

I'm really happy not just because of Davis, but I didn't want to see the team draft MKG, Barnes, Robinson, or Drummond with a top 5 pick. They're all fine players, but not really superstar talent. Davis is no guarantee either, but he's a much higher prospect than the ones mentioned.

For sure...I don't know how AD will translate but has the tools and ability you want if you're taking a risk.

Its really karma for the Hornets coming through. They played hard all season despite the massive amount of injuries on their team. They really weren't tanking. They were just a bad team that also suffered so many injuries and still lost a lot of close games throughout the season.
    This. Happy for you guys.

This is spot on. As untalented and banged up as the team was, I still didn't mind sitting through the games because they played hard every night and never intentionally tanked. For that reason, they deserved the #1 pick.

    This

Like 73% of the Hornets losses were by single digits. They never quit (other than Gordon)

I completely agree with this. If you look at the top 7 lottery teams, the Hornets were the only team that played hard till the end.

was rigged, but NO deserved the #1 pick based on actually playing the entire season.
