Best Burger in San Antonio

The BT burgers on Thousand Oaks. They used to be called Backyard Burgers. They have a very good taste to them and they have lots of sides to build them up if you want more than the "classic" burger .

I prefer Fuddruckers over all the standard joints. They bake their own bread which in my opinion goes mostly ignored. The Bison burger is unique and delish. I like to smother my burgers with the free queso they have on the condiment section.
I tried 5guys burgers not too long ago, not bad either. SA needs more triple D's style burger joints. Too many franchises here.
Also Luther's cafe downtown has some decent burgers.
We really don't have anything spectacular here, and longhorn is just average (but good) kind of reminds me of Chester's for some reason.

Yeah, fuddruckers is underrated. They have great burgers and it helps that you can pile on the toppings yourself.

I hate their steak fries though.

Little Hipps used to be the best in my opinion. Sorry to see it go after all those years. I think CM makes a fine burger and same for Longhorn. Fudds isn't too bad but I'm not a fan of their fries or their buns which I find to be a little dense.

If you like Little Hipps than you will like Timbo's. i think the owner use to work there cause it is almost a replica of it.
