Second quarter was an unmitigated disaster
The spurs needed TJ Ford in that early second quarter lineup,.and had no business going to Duncan
Pop has to stick to a regular rotation in the 2nd half.
We all know there's a huge part of Pop that wants to lose this game though.
Pop was thinking maybe James Anderson could get some home cooking.

I think we should try Blair, he is traditionally good against the Thunder, and since Bonner isn't making 3's I think Dejuan is a MUCH better option when the 2nd unit is in because that unit in the first half sucked

crap 1st half. And it all started with terrible play from the bench. We were up 5, Durant and Westbrook on the bench, Neal, Bonner and Tiago were all horrible and OKC made the big run
Well the Spurs took the best shot the Thunder, Ref, and Pop could throw at them for a half and only down 13.....It feels like the spurs should be down by 20+!

I'll give Perkins credit. He basically shut down TD on the block and has fantastic iso defensive plays against tp and manu.
This first half was on Pop! Why the did he leave the second unit in so long. He could've at least called a timeout when Bonner and Neal were stinking up the joint. We can't just play thru everything! If I see Neal in the paint and all of a sudden run to the corner with his arms wailing at a wide open shooter, I'm watching something else!!!
We should have been up by now if it wouldnt have been for Bonner and the ty refs. Remember when Manu hit a three to make us have a 5 pt lead? Damn it.

Bonner not doing anything. If anderson is in, put blair in. I know blair is a midget but at least he has some hustle in him. Bonner gets punked all the time.
