Spurs gave up the 2nd fewest FTAs this season, only just getting beat out by the much slower paced Lakers (so in terms of FTAs with pace factored, they gave up the least per possession).

Spurs gave up 18.7 FTAs per game during the season.

OKC shot the second most FTAs this year behind only Denver who played at a faster pace. OKC averaged the most FTAs per possession in the NBA.

OKC averaged 26.4 FTAs per game during the season.

OKC got 23 FTAs in game 1, and 36 in game 2.


So, over/under 30 FTAs? Feel free to guess how many too.

I disagree. I think unless OKC employs the hack strategy more than 5 times (aka, intentionally gives up more than 10 FTAs), they will absolutely outshoot SA from the line with high certainty.

I think if you exclude hack fouls (personal takes), OKC will outshoot SA from the line by double figures. Possibly by 15+.

Yep. Although it was very inconsistent officiating and really doesn't change the outcome of the game, Spurs just got their collective asses kicked.
