one part of this is the spurs choking. the other part is the thunder are finally realizing their potential. they are athletic as to play lock down defense and have offensively competent players that can play the same exact offense as the spurs.

    1. Don't let their bigs get everything they want
    2. More Tony and Manu in offense. And less turnovers Manu
    3. Not a single more minute of Bonner
    4. Make your wide open shots dammit
Ya Blair usually makes his open shots, Diaw is being quite passive even for him

    CIA Pop:

Play Bonner/Splitter/Mills/Green/Anderson the next 24 minutes...

win game 5 without using them

    play them 48 minutes again...

use the rest to win game 7 without using them.

The streak was important, I know my Spurs and when they lose momentum they lose it bad and NASTY. I'm doubtful they will even win another game. Just being a realistic life long fan, you guys know how the Spurs work.

We need Blair at this point. We need a big body who can bang and doesn't get beat to spots for easy dunks inside.

I don't think so, Spurs taking outside shots while Thunder making dunks. You gotta also figure Durant will go off soon.

    My thoughts:

    - Ginobili isn't getting enough touches at all... you've got to give him the chance to be the X Factor.

    - Interior is SOFT. I don't like Dejuan Blair... I don't think he's super intelligent, he's undersized, but my gosh - go with him. He cannot play worse. Better yet, he's got a fire inside of him to prove he belongs out there. Give him the chance.

    - Bonner cannot touch the court again.

    - Play the frickin' BIG THREE!!! It's one of the most important games of the season - a ticket to the finals if we win - play the big three together the majority of the second half. I don't care if they're all over thirty! They're the three best players you have, have played together the past decade - play the BIG THREE!!! Put them out there and give them a chance to take you to the finals.

    - Stephen Jackson should play. Leonard should play. Neal should see some time. I don't give a about anything else. Win the game! No more players shrinking from the spotlight!

    Let's go!
Exactly! Go with your mentally strongest players.

Unfathomable that Pop would choose to play Bonner.

If Splitter doesn't get his arms up on defense this second half I will break both arms. ING MAN UP AND SHOW SOME ING TOUGHNESS.

If Ibaka, Collison and Perkins are going to be hitting 20 footers all series, they deserve to win. Nothing you can do to stop...congrats Thunder. You are the better team, good luck against the Heat.

    Perkins 6-8 FG
    Ibaka 6-6 FG
    Collison 3-3 FG

    88%
WOW -- yeah. And if 5 of those 17 shots were goaltends, that still leaves 10-17 that weren't. You can bet Pop will make sure the refs hear an earful about the goaltends, and the refs will be obliged to throw some half-assed make up calls our way in the second half. But even without that - those three scrubs won't keep shooting like that all game, or at least not all series. So don't panic guys. Spurs just need to not lose their composure and keep pushing the ball and shooting and defending.
