Trail Blazers forward Darius Miles was unable to practice on Monday after having fluid drained from his left knee, head coach Nate McMillan told the Oregonian. He is fine and is expected to play on Wednesday against the Knicks.

Miles may act immature at times, but his game is maturing rapidly. His 32-point, 11-rebound effort against the Timberwolves to start the season opened eyes. If you were impressed by it, you should recognize he does not do that on a regular basis. He's a nice fill-in player to have on your bench, but he can't be expected to contribute every game.
