Relatively small sample size, I'll grant you that.
Otherwise in 30 playoff minutes (albeit most garb time) Patty has put up some good stats.

In the 6 regular season games he got 20+ minutes he did well tbh and the Spurs were 4-2. *Last game was the Golden State mail in but still...

When Parker is dragging ass on D and making funky turnovers/bad decisions on O, would it hurt to have Patty come in for a spell? Give more Parker more energy to perform in less minutes?

He's not going to be the savior so save your lame strawman twists.
But could some Patty along with more Splitter be very helpful to some of the tired starters? Duncan and Parker in particular.

Unleash the Patty. Let him backup PG. Give Jax time at SF and SG. Bonner and Neal should only see floor time if the show they can hit a shot within the first two minutes of being on the floor. Start Splitter so you can bring in Diaw's offense and always, always, always, have Splitter or Duncan on the floor.

For the Spurs to win Jax needs 30 minutes and 20+ points. He seems to be turning down way too many open shots.

Splitter should start , if Brooks wants to play hack a splitter, is better to do it early in the game and get the Thunder in foul trouble like that if the Spurs have some kind of momentum the Spurs would be in the bonus

It took Pop a full month and some just to get Boris Diaw acclimated to the starting lineup. Pop has never been especially fast at making the correct lineup/rotation changes. Expecting him to make proper adjustments in a 7 game series is asking the impossible. We're much more likely to see what happened in game 5, which is a complete meltdown of epic proportions as Pop's limited circuits overheat and blow up.

The shame in all of this is Pop's reluctance to tap into his bench players really negatives the effectiveness of having such a deep team. Example: When it was clear after game 2 that Danny Green was going to be MIA in this series it took Pop 2 more games of watching Green flounder to finally make a move. Same deal with Bonner.

He might be on to something. Patty Mills might be the secret weapon. Unleash him for a couple of minutes and allow him to know down a couple of threes ala Daequan Cook.

I agree Pop makes the adjustments too late and then when he does he goes to full panic mode.

A time machine back to game 3 would be nice too.

Wehen the Spurs started to get rolling and began to get a nice lead they seemed to stop doing the things that got them that lead like moving the ball, moving without the ball, playing better "D", fewer unforced turnovers. They lose that killer instinct when they get the lead against the Thunder, the momentum swings and it is all she wrote.
It is all mental in that regard.

The sequence where Cook had 3 wide open baseline jumpers was unacceptable. Someones gotta challenge the shot.

This is exactly Pop in the fewest words. Well said.

Gotta agree with both points. Splitter needs to play along side Timmy, should have done this throughout the regular season, and Patty Mills should get 8-10 minutes against Derek Fisher. Jackson, Parker and (maybe) Duncan all need to play heavy minutes.

    Patty is the .

He misses shots, and he continues to shoot,
because he's confident and he know he can make the shot.

Also, his defense this season has been under-rated.

I expect to seem some surreal lineups for game 6.
