Patty Mills is a poor subs ute for Neal. I know Neal sucks on defense but Patty is an unknown and hasn't proven to have the cojones of Gary Neal.
I would love for Mills to surprise us, though.

The other people who should have stayed in SA are Green, Bonner and ing Pop! OH and Parker for playing like a pussy.!!!!!!!!!
This just smells weird, but honestly who knows. I just couldn't imagine a player staying home for a pivotal elimination game unless he had an infection. The twist is him deleting his twitter.
I wouldn't be surprised that Pop having coached another ty game looked to blame someone other then himself. He probably got in Neal's face and Neal probably told Pop to go his old self. So end of Neal as a Spur....
neal deserves to be in the doghouse, the poor decision making and stupid shot selection during runs is fkn stupid on his behalf, dont even wanna talk about his lame defense also....

Just bizarre. There must be more to this. He'd have to be hospital-bed sick for this to not look like either quitting on the team or disciplinary action.
Just because Neal was not on THAT plane does not mean he won't catch another one tomorrow.
Spurs Asst. told me today "All Hands will be on deck" for tomorrow. He shut down Twitter as his way to focus.

Pop probably demanded from every player to have a positive game. Neal went 0:6 from 3 and played no defense, Pop had him cut to set the tone for the younger players. The big 3, Leonard and Jack played well.

This is what I figured, but it's fun to watch people run around like headless chickens.
If Neal is sick with anything contagious, the last thing you want to do is stick him on the plane with the rest of the team and risk it spreading. If he's not contagious, maybe he just wasn't in a good condition to be flying.
He will fly up separate, and if he's not well enough to play, he won't.
Or maybe he'll go Jordan Flu-game mode all over the Thunder.

San Antonio Spurs guard Gary Neal is expected to play Wednesday night despite not being on the team charter to Oklahoma City on Tuesday.
Spurs officials said Neal felt sick Monday night and was told to stay behind.
Team officials expected Neal to arrive later and join the team for Game 6.
The Spurs trail the Thunder three games to two in the Western Conference finals.
