OKC only gets credit for taking advantage of Miami losing focus. Miami has a better D, better leaders, better role players, and a better TEAM. They won't fail despite these inconsistencies.

Wade needs to play better than Westbrook, and both he and LeBron need to be able to hit a few jump shots to stand a chance. Also, I'd run the offense through Bosh and see how it goes. He's a big boy, he's had plenty of experience being a #1 option.

the Heat isn't splitting . Lebron will shy away from playing defense on Durant in the fourth quarter because he doesn't want to get embarrassed for his overrated defense. Thabo Sefolosha will do his job shut down Wade the first 3 quarters( like he did in game 1) then bother lebron on defense in the 4th quarter. Thunder do have a tendency to play like 1st quarter then go balls out in the 2nd quarter. Either way they not letting a game go at home.

    #THUNDERUP bitter es lol
What's the point of having all the defense in the world if your team two best players can't shoot for ? 80% of the shots they take is in the paint against the best defensive duo big men in the NBA. Look at Wade he is losing his athleticism which contributes a lot to his offensive game. I can't wait till the same thing happens to Lebron sorry ass. Only player in Miami with a consistent enough jumper is Bosh . Chalmers can shoot at times but isn't really liable but he playing better than wade lately . I don't expect the Thunder to play defense on the three point line since they haven't all playoff series, which is why the Heat should take advantage of it. Miami didn't lose focus in the 2nd quarter they got shut down defensively which lead to quick points. However, I don't expect you to acknowledge OKC defense .

OKC in 6 if not 5. BOOK IT!!!!!!!!
    FINALS MVP= KD

I still gotta think Dwade will step his game up, he's been called out by the fans and even battier alluded to it. Wade is too prideful of a mf'er to not come out guns blazing, the butthurt will propel him to a solid performance and Miami takes this one.

I guess I just think the best player in the world (Lebron) will not go down without a acious fight considering what this means for his legacy. 0-3 in the finals? The Decision? We will learn a lot about how Lebron handles pressure. There are legit concerns about his killer instinct, but IMO this is the first time the pressure is really on. In '07 he wasn't supposed to be there. Last year it was their first season together and the gelling excuse was somewhat in play. This year though? Its le or bust and I'm interested to see a the most talented player in the world play desperate.

DPG with the goods. I'll put my bid in for KD here. Game 6 against the Spurs. Closeout game. 4th quarter. Tight game. WB chucking. Harden not doing much either. Who steps up and closes out the Spurs? None other than KD.

I'll even go back to the Laker series. MWP in the past had handled him as best as anyone could. Not this year. Closeout game. 4th quarter. Tight game. Who steps up with the " it" 3ptr to send my boys fishing? K MF'n D.

This dude has it. LeBron, for all of his gifts, does not. I have a healthy respect for KD. This dude is the real deal. And he only 23? WTF happens when he gains 15-20 pounds of muscle? He's already a beast.

Back on topic. I'm interested to see what LeBron is made of these next few games. KD has shown time and time again during these playoffs that he can rise to the ocassion when called upon. Let's see if LBJ can do the same.

Great post. My little ninja DPG bringing it. This is time for LeBron to shine Dwade. If the Heat lose wade still has his ring to polish. LeBron is playing for legacy and his dwindling chances at GOAT status hangs in the balance.

I hope they win, T2Z. Not only because I will be two games closer to being ELE'd if they lose, but they aren't winning 4 out of the next 5 against OKC in the Finals.

Point taken Killa. KD did it against better compe ion. Lakers and SA are both easily better compe ion than what LBJ has faced during these playoffs. At home or on the road KD brought it. I'm pretty sure he would have dominated the Celtics in a 7 game series as well. Remember, PP is only a s of himself, they played without their best perimeter defender, RA has bone spurs, etc.

KD? In addition to his already stellar body of work during these 2012 playoffs, during his first Finals game ever: 12/20 FGAs and 36 points (17 big ones in the 4th). He seems to thrive under pressure and in crunch time. LBJ? Not so much.

    Real talk.

Game 6 against the Celtics convinced me that LeBron is prepared to give everything he's got. I love laughing at the Heat after pissing away games like Game 1 of the Finals, but after Game 6, I wouldn't bet a cent of my own money against LeBron in an elimination game this year.

They remind me of Dallas though. They are so untraditional from a championship perspective (long jump shooting team) that you think they are fools gold. I still think they are (somewhat) but like Dallas, OKC is a rare combo of either jumpers or free throws which usually does not happen.

I expect Lebron to come out with a "back to the wall" desperation effort. Heat need this game for momentum going into three straight games down in south beach.

Oh, Lebron and Dwade need to stop taking contested perimeter jumpers. Just ing drive into the lane and get into the penalty early... That's the only way I think they can control the game.

This game isn't the season for Miami. They are winning this series regardless of tonight. Things will just be tougher for them if they head back to Miami down 0-2.
