McKensie, serious, I am going to try to be rational with you about this.
You are talking about the "whiners" that are crying about losing the Saints over at SR.com.
These "Whiners" at SR.com are emotional people that have lost everything or were otherwise impacted by the Hurricane. Losing thier NFL team is, no matter how you look at it, a continued part of thier plight. They are fighting (and whining) to not lose thier team as easily as they lost thier homes and loved ones.
You may not have been meaning to downplay thier plight, but losing the Saints is a continued part of thier plight, They cannot do anything now to bring thier family members back, or to bring thier homes back, but they can raise a ruckus to try and keep thier team from being taken away from them.
This is the "Whining" you are refering to. To imply that the players are the victums in the moving of the team is very very callous. These people whining are doing all they can to keep from losing more of thier preKatrina life.
You are trying to distingiush between the 'Whiners" at SR.com and the "Victums" of Katrina to validate your posts, however you do not realize and I am trying to explain that the majority of these "Whiners" are in fact the Victums of the hurricane.
Show a little class man, and stop supporting the statement.
We know you did not mean to imply that the plight of hurricane victums in not as important as the plight of the players, you just did not take the time to realize the people who you were in fact taking jabs at, are the victums of the hurricane.
The "poor players" comment was il-advised, and boarderline inflamatory, regardless of your intent behind the words, which I believe was not nearly as coldhearted as they come across... Just please realize what it sounds like to an SR.com member who did lose everything.
