Why people think Phil Jackson can comeback and be an elite coach boggles my mind.

2 superstars atleast one now and one in the making
thunder's coach is not under contract do they privately call phil and ask what his price is or extend brooks
brooks to me is the best coach out there other then sloan or phil jackson

He's said it himself that he's retiring largely because of how much he feels his coaching ability has slipped. The 2011 Lakers prove that.

Funny people call him the best coach but don't call Russell the best player given the same rings argument.
I saw an interview where Phil said the lockout definitely had a lot to do with his decision to retire. He's like Derek Fisher faking reasons to leave a situation he doesn't want to be in.
It would be just like him to come back and pick a team that's already ripe for multiple les and get all the credit for it.
If he really wants to come back, he's praying Miami wins so he can poke holes in their championship, especially Riles.
I used to scoff at PJ too. But that last le we won in 2010 running on fumes, clinched it for me. the guy is legit. thunder would benefit from the triangle Harden , durant and Westbrook in it would be deadly and you deemphasize Russ's biggest weakness (tendency to over dribble) and utilize his ability to cut without the ball. Harden at the high post and wing in the triangle would be deadly. They could use another shooter and a post threat.

^^ Oh I agree...he's definitely legit. He out-coached Pop a few times. But he is still a narcissist that cherry picks teams and loves belittling other people's accomplishments.

lol Phil Jackson. He is almost dead. Why would he want to deal with that kind of stress this close to his grave? And OKC btw. He would coach Miami before those s in OKC.

All true, and his ego was worse than Shaq or Kobe's ... But that is part of his charm. His presser was only rivaled by SVG and Pop. Spo and Brooks suck with the media especially Spo
No one took SVG seriously. He was a bitter little man who never got any respect. I remember i think it was in 1997 when he pulled a move trying to unravel MJ and Michael destroyed the Knicks the next game.
