Great time to get work done, tbh... I'm catching some games from the Eurocup here and there and really waiting for the Olympics... Summer League should start around the same time too
Yeah, but that's like being the hottest chick in San Antonio.

I am excited that Chase Utley should be back Wednesday. That should inject life in the O. Injuries to key players have just raped the Phillies this season. Hamels is playing great, but no run support. As much as I hate that pos, Ryan Howard is missed during the regular season. Halladay will be out for at least another month. If these guys can get going in the next month, they will make a push for that wildcard spot. If they can do that, they will go on a tear and not look back.
Oh, and I am dying for preseason to start. I want to see Giants games again. They have insane depth this year.
Not a fan of sports that don't involve huge black men stuffing balls through holes and talking dirty to each other, tbh.
Whoa just realized your sig has Cuban licking his lips after all this time
They don't all weigh 200 lbs; you have some solid 175s and 180s too.
How about Olympic basketball, DD? Might as well throw in betting for how much the US is going to steamroll each of their opponents. Sounds like some fun while waiting for the new NBA season.
Pretty much British Open is all we have until training camp....other than that, not watchin Euro cup because America isn't involved.
soccer
Can't do the Olympics. Never was a sucker for the hoops (post-'92), Phelps, Kerri Strug, or any of the other bull .
Give me some Munich or a Tonya Harding crowbar and I'll watch, though...
Also, if you are into tennis, the Wimbledon and the US Open at Flushing Meadows fits in between the NBA offseason.
the olympics. No one gave a about short track speed skating when the Chinese completely dominated it, but now Apolo Ohno wins a few medals and Americans love the . If the US could dominate steeple-chase we'd all bandwagon that ed up event too.
Real talk though, how can you not love this ?
Yup. No sports besides baseball which won't matter until late July... And an NBA draft which we won't see on court results for another 6 months. Blah.
Wimbledon starts today![]()

Son, if you're a true American, tennis is not a sport. It's a pastime. It's only worth watching if Kournikova, Sharapova, or some other hot "-ova" chick is playing with a skirt that makes them look like they're starring in some soft core lesbo flick.
Eurocup and the Tour de France.
Good enough. Much better than baseball
Gay and gayer.
I guess it gives me time to get around to getting my CCNA. :p
tbh, the biggest issue with watching the Olympics here in America is that the NBC broadcast has an attention span of a 14 years old. They start broadcasting a mildly interesting volleyball game, 15 mins later they cut for commercials, then switch over to some bimbo running the 100m, mandatory commercial break after the 3 min, switch to Phelps getting high and winning his 82746473837363 gold medal...
Except for basketball and the Latino channels actually showing full soccer games, it's actually tough to catch any other sport that's mildly long. Probably the byproduct of paying a gazillion dollars for the broadcast rights
They like to show the 15 year old girls doing gymnastics in primetime...
What makes Olympic coverage in the US so unwatchable is at least half of the coverage is human interest stories about how Marshon the high jumper was born with only one nut or how Becky's sister sold her only pair of track shoes to pay for crystal meth.
Got Olympic basketball coming up, that should provide a few weeks of entertainment. Olympics can be pretty entertaining, tbh.
Miracle on water, imo
Most of it is boring, tho
Good ol' Alicia Sacramone
